n operation since 1964, the Bayernoil refinery in Neustadt is located on a site of approx. 300 hectares and produces propane and butane, refinery gas, all types of petrol, diesel, light and heavy heating oil. A wide range of products is also manufactured in Vohburg, including refinery fuel gas and liquid gas, all fuels that are used today, as well as bitumen and sulphur. The refinery commenced operation in 1967 and the site covers an area of about 127 hectares.

Since 2006, promaintain has played a major role in the shutdown planning and turnaround management at both sites in the areas:
